Electron Transport, ATP Synthesis, and Chemiosmosis

Molecular oxygen is the ultimate electron acceptor. It accepts electrons from the electron transport chain.
These electrons originate from the energy-rich foods we eat.
In this Lesson, we’ll learn how the electron transport chain uses the energy released from food to synthesize ATP.
