Aspire Monarch Academy is a charter school for students in kindergarten through 5th grades. The school offers a different approach to learning with personalized lesson plans that enhance the learning experience for students. Aspire Monarch Academy is part of the Aspire Public Schools which is among the top performing schools in the nation that serves low-income families. On average, the school has an enrollment of just under 380 students per year.

With Aspire Schools, students are provided with a caring, safe learning environment that stresses a college education even in the lower grades. Students are encouraged to learn and become life long learners. The unique learning environment provides students with a more personal learning plan than what is found at traditional schools. One of the programs found at Aspire Public Schools is the College for Certain education.

The Aspire Monarch Academy offers a variety of learning plans that include explicit instruction, apprenticeship, inquire, project based instruction, distributed practice, massed practice, and problem solving. Along with core subjects, the school offers extra curricular activities and student clubs such as computer arts, band, orchestra, dance, chorus, drawing, drama, volleyball, and science & technology. Sports offered at the school include baseball, basketball, physical education classes, soccer, football, and yoga.

Parents are very pleased with the progress they have seen with their children. Most parents agree that teachers are caring and go beyond the normal to ensure their students are learning and enjoying going to school. The school provides a safe learning environment where every student feels important and learns they can achieve a college education. Teachers and staff are very friendly and know students by their name.

The school did not show any academic growth and according to the California Standards Tests, students in most grades across most courses were below state averages.
