The Career Success Jr/Sr High School –North Phoenix was at one time known as Cave Creek. The school changed the name on April 14, 2010. The charter school provides a quality education for students in grades 7 through 12th in a nurturing and caring learning environment. The school does not offer any extracurricular activities, clubs, or sports.
Students attending Career – North Phoenix are pleased with the environment stating there are no cliques or bullying and that attending the school is more like a home environment from other schools they have attended.
Parents are very happy with the small class room size and the attention the students receive when needed. The school teaches students to be independent, work toward goals, but always remember there is help available when needed. Some parents placed their students here due to the worries of not performing well in traditional schools, after attending here the students are excelling and are interested in going to school.
Students in order to graduate from any public school in the state of Arizona must pass the standards set forth by the AIMS exam. Tenth graders at Career Success North Phoenix participated in the series of testing. Percentages of students that met or exceeded the standards along with percentages of students across the state that met or exceeded the standards are below.
In reading, 77% of students passed or exceeded the exam with the state average at 78%, in writing 54% with the state at 68%, and in math 21% with the state at 60%.
