Casa Verde High School opened in 2001 with an average enrollment of 300 students in 9th through 12th grades. The school provides a challenging and caring learning environment where students have the opportunity to reach their full potential. The school offers core subjects that meet the standards of the state. Special programs offered by Casa Verde High School include student government, community service, yearbook, academic contests, and science & technology. The school does not offer any other extra curricular activities or sports.
Parents are very pleased with the achievement of their children attending Casa Verde High School. Along with the curriculum and achievements of their children, the small class size is excellent for students to excel. The school provides extra hands on community based clubs which also aids in helping students excel both academically and socially. Students enjoy the curriculum that gives them the opportunity to achieve their goals and become productive members of society.
All students in the Arizona are required to pass the AIMS exam which measures the ability of students across the state to master specific courses. All 10th grade students must pass or exceed the exam in order to graduate from high school.

In reading, 80% passed or exceeded the exam with the state average at 78%, in science 40% with the state at 42%, in writing 64% with the state at 68%, and in math 64% with the state at 60%.
