Celerity Palmati Charter opened in 2011 for students in kindergarten through 5th grades. The school offers a variety of programs aimed at helping at risk students as well as their families including summer, evening, after school, and summer programs. The school uses a group based learning environment that ensures that each student receives the individual attention needed to help them succeed.
At this time, Celerity Palmati Charter does not offer any extra curricular activities, sports, or student clubs.
Most parents are very pleased with the alternative they have with Celerity Palmati Charter School. Parents expressed that teachers and staff are very attentive to the needs of the students and provide a caring and nurturing environment. Students enjoy attending the school and like their teachers. Most students stated they would like to see more activities to help them meet more of their classmates. Parents and students alike would like to see sports.
At the time of this writing, the Academic Performance Index and results of the California Standards Tests were not available.
Since the test results are not available it would be a good idea to talk with teachers, staff, and parents that have students attending the school prior to enrolling your child. You should learn more about the curriculum and if the school plans to have any type of activities to help students with their social skills.
