Community School for Creative Education is a charter school that opened in 2011 serving students in kindergarten through 8th grades. The school uses a Waldorf inspired curriculum. The school utilizes various teaching methods which include environmental education, multicultural education, experiential education, and project based education.
The school offers small class sizes and works with students on an individual basis to help them succeed. The school works with the whole child to foster ensure they grow intellectually, academically, culturally, and emotionally. Teachers encourage students to become life long learners.
The school does not have any extra curricular activities or sports at this time.
Parents are very impressed with the environment, the way in which teachers care and are devoted to each student, and the staff that are always very nice. Administration and staff listen to concerns of parents and provide a very safe environment where student can thrive. The majority of parents recommend the school.
The results of the Academic Performance Index and the California Standards Tests were not available.
Since the results of the exams are not available, it would be a good idea to ask to see these results and learn more about the curriculum before enrolling your child. You can also talk with teachers and parents to learn if the school environment is one that will fill the needs of your child before enrolling.
