Delta Charter High School – Tracy opened in 2001 on the campus of Cabrillo College to provide students with the opportunity to succeed of obtaining a high school diploma. The school provides a alternative for students in 9th through 12th grades with a classes that focus on real world issues while providing students with skills in technology and the knowledge needed to enter college or to join the workforce.

At this time, Delta Charter High School does not offer any extra curricular activities, sports, or student clubs.

Parents expressed that the teachers are very well educated in the way students learn today. The school is safe and all staff is caring and dedicated. Students are very happy with the teachers and the curriculum and stated that teachers are very helpful.

The Academic Performance Index showed academic growth from 612 to 616.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.
The percentage of students passing the exams at Delta Charter High School – Tracy was mainly below state averages or the scores were not available.

The California High School Exit Exam had the percentage of 10th graders passing the English Language Arts exam at 93% with the state average at 83% and in math 62% passed with the state average at 84%.

With the test scores, it would be a good idea to learn more about the curriculum as well as learn more about the learning environment before enrolling your child. The students and parents stated the school is doing a good job providing students with the tools needed to succeed.
