Fenton Primary Center opened in 2008 to provide families in the Lake View Terrace area with an alternative to traditional school for students in kindergarten and 1st grades. The curriculum is standards based with the students working in small groups to ensure they receive the personal attention they need to excel.

The school does not offer extra curricular activities or sports for these grade levels.

Parents expressed they really like the environment that is helping their children become ready for school as well as provide a safe learning environment Most parents all had positive remarks and students like attending the school and their teachers.

The Academic Performance Index and the California Standards Tests are not given for the grade levels that attend Fenton Primary Center.
