Full Circle Learning Academy is a charter school that opened in 2007 to provide students in kindergarten through 7th grade. The school teaches using curricular themes, which include habits of helpers, building blocks of the heart, habits of heroes, habits of giving, habits of collaboration, habits of peacemakers, habits of oneness, habits of humanitarians, climate change agents, and habits of sages. The school offers what they call a full circle learning wheel which includes character education, local & global community service, academics, peacemaking skills, and art & music.
At this time, the school does not offer any extra curricular activities, sports, or student clubs.
All comments from parents were positive regarding the learning environment and the teachers. The unique moral character and learning environment is one that works to ensure the needs of the whole child are met including socially, emotionally, and academically. A few students expressed they would like to see some sports and clubs available.
Results of the Academic Performance Index and the California Standards Tests were not available at the time of this writing.
Since the results of the state exams were not available it would be best if you talk with administration to learn more about the results as well as the curriculum. Talking with other parents that have students enrolled can help you make a decision if the school is one that will help your child succeed.
