Montessori Charter School of Flagstaff opened their Sunnyside campus in 2000 for pre-kindergarten and kindergarten students. The school on average has 150 students. The school has an exceptional staff, high-qualified teachers, and an administration that is kind and caring. Students learn through exploring and discovering their own potential.

Parents are very pleased with the opportunity the school is giving to help their children be better prepared for the school years. Parents expressed their children were learning both academically and socially and enjoying learning. Shy students are coming out of their shell and those with speech issues were seeing marked improvements. The environment is perfect for students to become life long learners.
