Oxford Preparatory Academy opened their Chino Valley campus in 2010 to provide students in Kindergarten through 8th grades with an option over traditional school settings. The school prepares students to be lifelong learners and thrives to stop children from being at risk students.

Along with core subjects, the school offers sports and a variety of other extracurricular activities. The sports available include basketball, soccer, spirit squad, track and field and marching band. This is a highlight of the school expressed by parents and students. Students love the variety of activities that also includes mileage club, green team, GLEE club, computer club, dance team and Champions for Christ.

The opinion of the school is very high with the majority of parents proud of the achievements of their children. The school is known for its high academic programs and its collegiate programs as well. Parents love how dedicated the teachers and principal are, how enthusiastic the teaching is, and how impressive the test scores are. Students enjoy attending the school but would like to see a few more sports offered such as football and cheerleading.

The Academic Performance Index increased 14 points from the previous to a score of 972 which is the highest in the region. The statewide goal is 800. Parents are pleased with the increase and are quite impressed with what their children are learning.

The California Standards Tests is used to learn if students are mastering core subjects. The various tests are given to 2nd through 11th grades in English, grades 2nd through 7th are given tests in math, and science tests are administered to students in grades 5th, 8th, and 10th, while history tests are given to students in 8th and 11th grades.

The percentage of students passing the exams was remarkable with nearly all of the results in the 90th percentile.
