Alice S. Paul Learning Center is part of the PPEP TEC school that provides students with a computer based curriculum as an alternative to traditional school. The school provides a curriculum for students in 10th through 12th grades in Casa Grande with a variety of school to work electives that ensure students are ready to join the work force or to attend college upon graduation from high school. This campus opened in 2001 and has an average enrollment of 53 students.

The school provides an excellent education with the tools needed for students to succeed and achieve their goals. A few of the features of the school include achieving a high school diploma, accelerated learning with the ability to earn up to eight credits per year. The school also offers day, afternoon, or night classes with small class sizes and free tuition. The teachers are qualified and want students to succeed.

The major draw is the small class size that provides students with a one on one environment where students can learn quickly and graduate earlier than they would in a traditional setting.

Some of the campuses offer different extracurricular activities and sports for students that wish to participate. A few of the activities include student council, service learning, prom, gardening, yearbook, girl scouts youth leadership, soccer, basketball, LULAC, and more.

The community is excited with the school and the opportunities that the school has provided to not only students and their families but also the community as a whole. The school works with the community to allow students to volunteer in their community, which helps increase their resume and experience in the work force.

The percentage of students that passed the AIMS series of tests in 10th grade is not very impressive at all. In reading and science, 0% passed the exam, while in writing only 22% passed with the state average at 70%, and in math, only 14% passed with the state average at 60%.

Before enrolling your child in the school, it would be best to look at the curriculum and learn why students are not passing the state required exams to graduate from high school.
