Roosevelt Elementary opened in 1996 to offer families the opportunity to enjoy a small town atmosphere for their young children. The school serves students in the first grade. The curriculum focuses on high academic students regardless of their student’s age.

The school schedule is based on a curriculum that teaches the youngest students to become the best that they can be. The teachers are dedicated and very helpful to the parents in preparing the students for the next step in their educational future.

Parents are very pleased with the teaching methods at the school. They are impressed that their young children are being given such an extensive education at an early age. On the other side of the coin, some parents are disappointed with the parental involvement as the school schedules some activities when parents are working.

The Academic Performance Index and test scores are not given to students in first grade therefore it would be best to speak with other parents to learn how well their children are doing in the school.
