RSD Charter High School is a very unique learning environment that caters to students that are behind in credits, at risk of dropping out of school, adjudicated, or pregnant. These students often fall in the cracks with traditional educational settings, but at RSD Charter High School, they can excel. Students are provided a computer driven learning environment that allows them to enjoy a self-paced curriculum. The program utilized by the school is best for students that are self-reliant and ones that can work independently.

The school works with all students to help them succeed while providing an excellent way for those that need to hold down a job, are not doing well in traditional school, those that are behind in credits, and students that want to graduate early to reach their goals.

The main positive response from parents and students alike was the fact that students can choose their own schedule with day and night sessions available. The teachers, staff, and administration work with students to ensure their needs are met and they can achieve a high school diploma working at their pace.

Even though the percentage of students that passed the AIMS series of exams were below average, you must remember these are often students that are at risk of dropping out of school. The school does a very good job of helping students succeed and for those that are thinking about quitting school, this could be the answer for them to receive their high school diploma.
