AP Psychology Stress & Coping
Lecture Description
In this lesson, our instructor, Charles Schallhorn describes how our bodies handle stress -- what chemicals the brain releases and how they affect the body. He mentions different ways people can try to diffuse or eliminate their stress, the health hazards of living a stressful life, and the different coping mechanisms people employ to handle stress -- either through focusing on the problems or the emotions associated with the problems. He also describes what it means to have a Type A personality versus a Type B one.
