This is more like "how to use wordpress" tutorial and does a good job for it but should exclude titles like "Creating and Customizing Themes"

May be it is out of scope of this tutorial set but in my opinion "Creating and Customizing Themes" should include not just "here's the file you need to edit" but explaining loop what it does.

Also important to explain the wordprss default hooks and what each hook does and what are the options to style them.

Basically everyone who is a PHP programmer this tutorial set is worthless and anyone who doesn't know php this tutorial set is worthless for the purpose of "Creating and Customizing Themes"
