URL Variables

Html has no memory
Stateless protocol: header data is ONLY available on the next request and forgotten thereafter
Parts to a querystring, Special characters
Can view in the browser url area
2 page process, first page creates, second page can use the url variables
Do not pass confidential information such as passwords, credit card numbers this way
Exercise:

Create a new page
Add a link on the page to the countries page
Explain the 4 characters that you have available
Also have the urlEncodedFormat() available for links
Build a querystring to pass the countryID
Preview in browser & show the code
