I am excited to learn HTML 5 and I like how you explained everything so far. My question is, can a developer use php and asp as a client? I mean, can I create a website from my computer without connecting to a server and use php and asp and simply run it from a browser off directories in my computer?
Thank you,
Jim

It would be useful to explain the difference between open source and commercial languages and with what database servers each language can be used. A lot of people don't know, including myself.
