Are polar plots considered 2D or 3D in Matlab

Graphics, Part 2

  • You can show a number of plots in the same figure. First way is to hold the previous graph and plot the next one on top of it without erasing the first one. You can also show a number of plots in the same figure by using subplot function. The statement subplot(m,n,p) divides the figure window into m*n small sets of axes, and select the pth set for the current plot (numbered by row from the left of the top row).
  • In this session we also introduce some special plots such as logarithmic and polar which have vast applications in science and engineering.
