Lecture Description
In this lesson, our instructor Ron Schooler gives an introduction to industrialization and global capitalism. He discusses the Industrial Revolution, major change in how goods are made, machines and fossil fuels, the factory system and how it creates consumers, the desire for political influence, the spread of industrialism, relative share of world manufacturing outputs, GDP per capita, and the two industrial revolutions.
