In this lesson, our instructor Ron Schooler gives an introduction to demographic shifts occur because of innovations, disease, and modern warfare. He discusses science and the environment, diseases of the poor, emergent epidemic diseases like 1918 flu and Ebola, lifestyle disease, effective birth control emerges, birth control desirable and not desirable, effects of birth control, new military technology, new military tactics, and high casualties.
